The procedure related to the Individual Thesis Monitoring Committee (CSI) is detailed in the internal regulations of the VAAME Doctoral School – Section 3.4

Note :
For 1st and 2nd-year students: The progress report and the CSI minutes must be submitted before June 30th (if this is not possible, please send an email to the management coordinator at louise.blot@univ-angers.fr).

For 3rd-year students and beyond: If the thesis defense takes place before the administrative deadline for re-registration (see December 31st), there is no need to organize a CSI meeting. However, if the defense is postponed beyond December 31st of the year, a CSI meeting will need to be organized at the end of the 3rd year (full-time thesis) or at the end of the 6th year (part-time thesis) in order to register for an additional year of the doctoral program. Any further extension of the thesis (e.g., 5th year) will require a progress report and the organization of a CSI meeting to gather its opinion.
