A look back at language training session on the “language of companies”

On Friday, 22 May 2026, our PhD candidates attended a training session on the “language of companies” in Nantes.
On-site testimonials from two PhD graduates working in the private R&D sector and interview simulations based on real job offers were part of the programme. The PhD candidates were thus able to identify company codes and expectations and understand how to promote and transfer the skills acquired in an academic environment.
Many thanks to Ifremer Nantes for hosting the event, as well as to Jonathan RETIF from the SUO-IP of the University of Angers for his HR contribution. This training session was organised by Sabrina Macé, Sarah Mamdouh and Kenny Oberlé as part of the Professionalisation and Internationalisation Committee of the VAMME Doctoral School: many thanks to them for this wonderful day.
