Compagny Language Training - May 27th in Angers

Do you want to work after your thesis, outside the academic sector, but it is difficult for you to formulate your skills and describe your path in business language?

The Business Language training offered by the ED VAAME will help you do this.

It will take place on Tuesday 27 May 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the site of the University of Angers Belle-Beille Facaulté des Sciences, in the form of workshops. ). Direct registration on Amethis under the following code DIS-VAAME-10.

Rolled of the day:

• 9 a.m.-10 a.m.: Two testimonies from ALUMNI on their professional integration into the private sector after a doctorate in the perimeter of the ED VAAME
• Workshop 1 (10.15-12.30 p.m.): “Finding job offers adapted to doctoral skills by optimising the chances of being hired outside the academic sector. ”
  • Part 1 (10.15 a.m. - 4.45 p.m.): Technique and job search tools for a doctoral candidate (dedicated sites for doctoral students, recruitment firms) (30 mins).
  • Part 2 (11 a.m.-11.30 a.m.): The enhancement and adaptation of doctoral skills in relation to the expectations of employers in the private sector (30 mins): Implementation: Identifying and translating its skills into company language.
  • 3rd part (11.30-12.30 p.m.): Implementation – By group: Select a real job offer and prepare for your application (Pitch)

• Workshop 2 – (2 p.m.-5 p.m.): Simulation of a job interview with a SUIOIP member and a ED VAAME scientist (10/15 minutes per person)
